What does the permitting process include for my pool construction project?
The permitting process for your pool construction project begins immediately after you sign the contract agreement. The process typically includes the following steps:
- File Creation and Organization – We gather and organize all necessary documentation for your permit application.
- Construction and Stamped Electrical Plans – Detailed construction plans, including stamped electrical plans, are prepared to meet local code requirements.
- Approval from a Plans Examiner – The plans are reviewed and approved by a plans examiner to ensure they comply with all regulations and safety standards.
Note: Certain non-standard city requirements, such as engineered drainage surveys, final grade surveys, proximity letters, or erosion control measures, may not be included in the approved permit and could potentially cause delays in the permitting process.
To ensure a smooth approval, it’s important to stay in communication with your Project Manager, who will keep you updated on the status and any additional requirements that may arise during the permitting process.
