We recently completed a new pool installation in Fort Worth. The homeowners of this featured pool wanted a freeform play pool with a raised beam water feature. They also wanted a lot of extra seating area, as well as a pergola for shade from the Texas heat. It’s details like the seating and a pergola for shade that maximize your use of your new pool. These are features you want to be sure to incorporate in your new build, rather than to try to add them down the road.

The Design:

We worked to ensure the design flowed freely and would encourage proper use of maintenance for lifelong use and functionality. We designed the pool area around the ideas of clean lines with oversized seating areas.

The Challenges:

Access to the backyard was challenging due to the neighbor proximity. We used lower profile machinery to mitigate these issues. Another problem we encountered was hitting rock at 2-3’ of dig depth. We reduced/limited the customer’s cost by bringing in an oversized rock hammer to reduce the homeowner’s rock charge.

Final thoughts:

This project was a pleasure from start to finish. We were able to maintain our 6-8 week build time, even with the holiday season and a few days of bad weather. The homeowner verbally expressed to us how satisfied they were with the entire process and our ability to complete everything in a timely manner, even with a few setbacks. The homeowner plans to leave us a positive review expressing their experience of their backyard transformation.

We know the homeowners are looking forward to sharing their revamped backyard with their family and friends in the coming year!
